More About Me

Rachel and I started building this dollhouse when Rachel was about ten years old. The project began as a result of a small totally unfinished dollhouse purchased at a Christmas Bazaar at the hospital where I work. I actually purchased it merely to support the patients at the hospital. When I brought it home Rachel was estatic and said she'd always wanted a dollhouse. We soon outgrew that little house and moved on to a whole new world of miniatures. The dollhouse is constructed from a Walmer kit "the Nob Hill". We wired it, carpeted, wall papered and searched numerous miniature shows and shops for furniture and decorations. Rachel has since lost interest in the project but my mother and I continue to go to miniatures shows and our projects have increased to numerous room boxes and we enjoy changing the decorations in the dollhouse according to the seasons.
